At Kamabakka Island, the focus shifts to our final Strawhat, good old master Sanji! And what do you know…



He’s back to his old habits again! Drooling, raging and being a public relations nightmare as Ivankov blatantly REFUSES to divulge any information, because he doesn’t see anyone looking like Sanji on those wanted posters! Oh Sanji. Upon Ivankovs insistence, eventually, at great distress and tormented as few others have ever been tormented before, Sanji breaks down and confesses!



Ivankov responds to Sanjis hysterics with his best Borat-impersonation. I’m just gonna let this sequence of images speak for themselves.





Oh Sanji. Ivankov, having milked the fun for as much as he can finally relents, as he shows Sanji the newspaper that’s gotten everyone in such a tissy. When Sanji beholds the article he reacts with astonishment as we pan over to NOT the article, but fem-Inazuma telling Ivankov they’re being hailed by the big boss himself, while in the background…



…. I don’t know why the sight of a man in a dress running around with a giant axe unnerves me so when this manga has shown me far weirder things in the past, but it just DOES. Now guess what time it is?



It’s DRAGON TIME, HELL YEAH. His line is in response to Ivankovs question if the news of him being related to Garp and having a son has shaken the revolutionaries confidence in him, but according to Dragon most of them just seem relieved that Dragon did not step fully formed out of a Sea Kings split-open forehead. Dragon remarks that Luffy is no longer a child and is free to do as he pleases, as their discussion AGAIN drifts to the mysterious article we keep HEARING about but never see! Also, Oda pre-empts the SBS-questions by showing how they apparently decrypts communication in OP-verse.



That is the saddest snail-phone ever. Probably because no one ever talks through him, he just sits there and does his thing without anyone ever acknowledging he’s there. I think he wanted to be a filk singer when he grew up. That is so the look of crushed dreams, in those tiny little eyes. Ivankov then states he has a lot of questions for Dragon, which Dragon says he will answer to the best of his ability now that they need to assemble all the scattered revolutionary leaders and take action to change the world to their liking in the wake of the Whitebeard War! And as Ivankov inquires as to what on earth has happened with Kuma… SCENERY CHANGE :D I would be angered by this but guess where we’re heading? I have to admit, it’s pretty ballsy that Duval has the presence of mind to load his gun in front of Kuma. Shyakky tells everyone to chill because last time around, Kuma was an ally. Cue scenery change. God. DAMN you Oda. Just… goddamn you.

In Alabasta Cobra, Pell and Chaka are discussing the increasing amount of pirate attacks on their kingdom, bitterly wondering why not every pirate crew can be like the Strawhats, while Vivi pours over that GODDAMN ARTICLE AGAIN, although her look seems to be one of mild disapproval and confusion as she, for some reason, talks about ”fashion statements”... whereupon we get yet ANOTHER scenery change to an unnamed island, where Crocodile and Mr 1 are chilling like villains. Crocodile seems astonished by Luffys quick recovery and ”crazy actions”, although truth to be told they couldn’t really care less: they’re off, or in Crocodiles case going BACK to the New World, baby! But if you thought Oda was plum out of surprises you ain’t seen nohting yet! Strap yourself in folks-



The Buggy pirates are reunited at last! Not an eye is dry as Cabaji, lion-dude and Buggy share sobstories of the torment they went through, save for little miss Party Pooper Alvida who wonders why everyone is so tearyeyed when they all LEFT Buggy before and when exactly Buggy became the leader of bounties FAR surpassing his own. But Buggy placates her with a wedding ring Captain Johns treasure mark… Even though I so think it could serve as a wedding ring okay MR 3 CAN BE THEIR MISTRESS BUT THEY ARE TOTES MARRIED NOW YOU GUYS and speaking of mr 3! He is seen accepting the letter a delivery bat- delivery bat?- from the World Government sent, and it’s YET ANOTHER PIECE OF NEWS THAT WE DO NOT GET TO SEE, while Buggy chews out Mr 3 for reading his mail. Guys? Can I. Can I just call this the best villanous failT3 ever? Because I want to. I really really want to.

Well then! Tons of teasing with nothing being shown and OH GOD SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS WEEK. Current consensus seem to be that Buggys mail was an invitation to the Shichibukai, which I think would be hilarious. As for Luffy… I’m more and more thinking convinced this has something to do with Rayleighs plan. Truth to be told though I can’t kinda care about any of that right now: THOUSAND SUNNY. KUMA. EVIL CYBORG-KUMA and Caimie and Shyakky and Hatchi and that guy with the face… we are heading towards an uncertain future, ladies and gentlemen, and Oda himself does NOT seem to be in a hurry to show us WHAT we’re heading into…
