Nia is an absolutely adorable little girl who seems to be as willful as the other Gurren-brigade members, just in a different way. Although Brook is fond of her, he will argue that her methods aren't suitable in this kind of context, and that she must let men of brass balls and women of steel uterii solve their problems the way God intended them: with retarded violence. Because that's just how he rolls.

Not to say he looks down upon her or her way of thinking: this is just the way he thinks shonen retards works, and pretending they could solve things in her way would be doing her a disservice in Brook's mind. In short he has your back and all, but he'll let you know his mind without a seconds thought.

And then be topped and do what you say anyway. orz.

Oh god. Brook adores all of the Gurren crew because you are all so loveable. It's like you stepped right off a pirate ship in my world and got yourself stranded :D

Simon is a young boy of strong spirits and mild manners. Simon's story really impressed Brook because being trappd underground for so long, and not getting used to it, to actually dare to dream about living a life that isn't dictated by tradition or habit, is a major ping for Brook. And that you're also dedicated to your friends and corageous in the face of danger, well. Damn, that's enough to get you a friend for life. You remind Brook how life should be lived, passionately, and he's very fond of you for that.

Brook realizes that he needs to tone down the charm a little around Lady, or else there's a shooting in his future and he frowns upon shootings. But since he's Brook, this doesn't mean he'll treat her with silk gloves or anything... just that he'll be marginally less weird around her. Marginally. He won't do anything he thinks will get him shot, at least!

Mia Fey has charm, class and is doing what Brook considers one of the most important jobs at camp. She seems to a strong woman who has moved on from her own death and found peace with herself, and in his eyes that is a very admirable thing... since he hasn't. Putting it simply, he thinks you're a bedazzling woman with an AMAZING rack. GOD you people aren't making not having a body any easier.

Brook adores Kamina. Not only was he quick to accept Brook, bones and all, but he also did little things like give him nicknames and trust him to do things for him and generally... generally act like there's nothing strange about Brook at all. Kamina is just so vibrant and ALIVE. He's almost everything Brook would look for in a comrade, minus the poor skill and shirtlessness of course. Brook is honored that Kamina considers him as an equal, human being. He's also a bit shocked at how poor your fencing skills are, and is secretly mulling over how to suggest he can help Kamina without making it seem insulting.

Brook didn't get that much of an impression of Rossiu. He managed to remain polite despite circumstances at least, so Brook thinks of you as a quiet and reserved, gentlemanly type.

He also finds Shigure amusing in his eagerness to let young Hiro be heavily mindscarred.

Toph is a remarkable young lady in his eyes. Although it took him awhile to realize her handicap, he is impressed by her spirit and scrappy attitude. Also he thinks she fights solely by listening to her enemy's movements which just makes her COOLER, and he is awed by her elemental powers. He thinks in short she is the most kick-ass little girl he's ever met, if a little ough around the edges and not entirely lady-like. But, to each their own.

Brook found Bulma charming! Despite circumstances, she seems like a bright young woman of great intellect and capability! Although it was a bit odd trying to connect her youthful manners with the look of an adult woman, he's more than willing to meet her again and give her an extra chance!

Claire was quite obviously terrified of him, so he'll try to find and convince her he's not scary at all! Because leaving people who find you terrifying alone is for CHUMPS.

Nita was a charming young lady with... peculiar powers, so to speak! Brook realizes she probably has something supernatural about her, but doesn't really care. A polite and nice young girl, not much of an impression beyond that!

Oh Hiro. I'm half the time not even sure WHY Brook does the things he does to you, but I think it comes down to Brook... kinda figuring that Hiro's always upset about something, and to devote that much time to being constantly negative you HAVE to have some pretty strange thoughtprocesses who are either the results of you being a total insufferable brat, or you having a less than stellar life. And Brook just... doesn't want to see that in a young boy who should be interested in grand adventures and pirates and AMAZING STORIES and so on. So he's gonna try to work his charm on you until you crack and just SMILE already darnit.

A small part may be that his entertainers pride won't let him leave until he's at least dragged ONE laugh out of your mirthless sorry body, but that's not as impressive and altruistic a reason, so we'll speak silently of that. At least I would, Brook'll probably readily admit it.

Oh lady Belldandy. You are like an oasis of understanding and fluffy kittnes and adorable love in a desert of general mistrust a skeleton's gotta go through. Brook adoer Belldandy, and if he knew Urd was her sister he would be so mindblown. To Brook, Belldandy is like, the ultimate in ladyness, proper and kind and caring and all that jazz, and there's really not much to it beside that. He will only acts his best around her, lewd limericks and such will have to be regulated strictly towards Urd.
