A helpful cannon-fodder marine informs those of us who forgot who Law was since his last appearance, but Buggy refuses to listen to Ensign Exposition and instead asks Law who he is. Such a rude clown, that one. The marines go on a counter-offensive, being ordered to divide their forces between Whitebeard and Blackbeard whereupon tunnel marines, close relatives of ceiling cat, appear out of nowhere! But just as the battle is about to begin…



Blackbeard decides to get experimental. Calling out any and all challengers, even after admitting his control is nowhere near perfect Blackbeard says he’ll close the book on the old age completely, by wiping out Garp and Sengoku! In the midst of this, we cut to Shabondy Archipelago where we see that Shabondys Bureau of Public Safety consist of only the finest minds available on the archipelago.




TV Tropes are then proven right on how Everything’s Worse With Bears as the Pacifista-bots cross the fissure and press towards the attack… wait. Does that mean they’re attacking Blackbeard now, since he’s the only one on the other side of the fissure? And yet, those seem to be Whitebeard pirates being blown away… oh never mind that now: It’s Coby time! Oh Coby you lovable scamp, what will you do to entertain us in these dark times… ah never mind, poor boy is freaking out and hearing ’the voices’ disappear one by one. Boy’s gone loopy-wait. Voices disappearing? Now where have we heard that before…



The marines push ever on, abandoning their fallen where they lie as Tashigi and Smoker lament that both the marines and the Blackbeard pirates alike are riding too high on their victory trains to slow down whatsoever, as Akainu is seen torching Curiel(Yes I had to look his name up in the wiki), Blackbeard sports his glee-face and Kizaru FINALLY makes his appearance, sniping Buggy from a nearby ship-mast. Buggy drops Luffy like he’s hot but it’s OKAY for Jean-Bart the giant catches him, netting a double thumbs-up from Bepo. God I love Bepo. Kizaru on the other hand never COULD find the bear Sylvana-family when Sentomarou was a little boy, and as such has a pathological hatred for cuddly bears. The fact that someone else managed to build a completely yellow boat before he could does not help, so he starts charging up his laser. Also, I see how it is. Everyone else gets nifty overalls, but all the giant gets is a muscle-shirt. Discrimination, I tell ya.

But then! A voice, crying out for justice! For mercy! For the sake of the fallen… Coby takes a stand and my GOD that is a narmy, snot-covered mess of a face. Well, can’t win ’em all. Coby does a little speech on how the war has become meaningless now that they’ve won, and strangely enough people actually stop and pay attention. Even Blackbeard… a side-effect of his Mantra haki, like how Luffy can drop suckas by sheer force of will? Garp can only look on with wide eyes, as Akainu gets back his bearings as he realizes this tree-hugging peace-loving hippie crap has cost him precious SECONDS of burninating, seconds he must reclaim post-haste. And just like so long ago Coby thinks he’s done for, but has no regrets: he said his piece, and can die without regrets!



NOT SO.

Shanks tells the unconscious Coby that he has bought the time necessary to change the course of history, as Ben Beckman somehow threatens Kizaru with a gun and the Law-pirates make their escape! The other pirates and marines notice that a SECOND Yonkou has appeared, whereupon Shanks retrieves his Strawhat and tells them all they’ve been VERY naughty children, and he’s sending them all to bed without supper.

Excitement abounded in this chapter! In the next chapter we’re promised the end of the conflict, and most likely the day of the dreaded time-skip is drawing nearer and nearer! Stay tuned true believers, as we give you the frame by frame recount of this exhilarating adventure!

I love Bepo toooo. and for some reason I never really thought Shanks would actually show up but his entrance here was so much more epic than I could've imagined :D

My guess is more along the lines of his Haki letting him shoot SUPER BULLETS or some-such nonsense. But Seastone bullets is not a bad idea as well, though it's got to be something wellknown, considering Kizaru knows not to mess around with him.

It certainly was. Me, I'm wondering if Shanks will actually JOIN the fight, or just tell everybody to knock it off and then... they all just slink away into the night or something.
