moveyourdeadfrosMan this is late. It’s hard to get back into the rythm after all this crazy hiatusing, I guess.
We open up this chapter with a picture that is just so One Piece- cannibal sheep as a request from a soon to be twin-mother. She’s gonna raise some interesting little tykes, I can tell you that.
The Kuja Amazons have taken Luffy near Shabondy, but are unable to go any further due tothe fact that they can’t exactly go showing off that they’re escorting Monkey D. Luffy. Hence, Hancock gives Luffy a disguise-
And a light meal on the go.
Darnit captain just marry the woman already. Also, Boa says that ”no one will be able to forget your face”. I find this hilarious right now. The Kuja amazons see Luffy off with cheerful words while Nyon shows what she thinks about Boa’s tightly screwed on shipper goggles.
At the archipelago we now rejoin Luffy as the Fake!Hats try to scare him into bowing and begging for forgiveness. When that doesn’t work out they pull out a- gasp- gun!
Luffy then demonstrates that he is The One.
And sweet, sweet justice is served. At Grove 17 Nico Robin finally returns to the Sunny, only to find a familiar face already onboard!
… Did I say familiar face? Disregard that- Franky has remodeled himself completely, and takes Nico Robins comments that he is not even human any longer as flattery. It’s nice to see that Franky’s spirit is still intact, even if I find his new design quite fugly. The ship has already been coated and now they are just waiting for Luffy to arrive, as Franky muses…
Which is horsedoodie of course, but we’ll forgive him this lapse of judgment. It’s most likely the new cogs and whatnot making his brain rust. Back with the Fake!Hats, Fake-Ro and Fake-Ji rejoin the rest with Chopper in tow, and Chopper can’t see, sense or realize that they’re not the real Strawhats. This I find almost offensively dumb and boring, so we’ll skip right ahead: the marines notice the Fake!Hats and mistake them for the real deal, as even though they may have ”changed” only the Strawhats would have that weird pet! And so the marine assemble a grand force unlike any other and prepare to evacuate Grove 46 (seriously how could these Dumb!Hats think that taking on that name would be a good idea) of civilians for what will surely be a climactic battle for the ages, lead by good old…
Sentomarou! He advices them not to underestimate the Strawhats as they can only have gotten stronger, and mentions in passing that Kuma-Kou (and here Mangastream had an interesting little blurb explaining that adding the suffix for ”lord”, that is ”-kou” to the end of a name is usually a sign of sarcasm and meant as an insult) has been acting strange ever since he lost his personality and as such he suspected they would one day return to Shabondy. He goes it with full force, bringing two pacifistas with him…
Elsewhere, at Grove 42, Sanji is looking for fish while he encounters a Despondent Fisherman, who says that he met a young man with carrying three swords and with only one eye who told him he wanted to go fish, but who accidentally walked right onto a pirate ship about to submerge and fell asleep on it! Sanji is of course concerned for his nakamaaahahahaha oh god I can’t even type that with a straight face.
Oh well, looks like we’ll just have to wait for Zoros entrance until they find him somewhere on FishmanOT SO FAST!
Ladies and gentlemen, I ask this of you. Who on earth could combine both Derp and Badass, two qualities which should cancel each other out, into his entrance bu tour Lolonoa Zoro? Nobody. That’s who.
